Have you checked out the chat feature on Clubzap yet? Each team has a team chat to provide updates on training times etc. Whats even better is that it has an RSVP function so you dont get all the annoying thumbs up alerts like in Whatsapp.

Its easy to use, just hit the chat button on the dashboard find the chat that is relevant to you and request to join. The chat admin will add you then.
