🏉 U18.5 Match Report 🏉 Killorglin U18. 5 travelled up to Sundays Well to play their weather postponed Pan Munster group game on Monday evening under lights. Killorglin started very well, owning the ball and territory for the first 20 minutes but couldn't find a way through a very resolute home defence. On the 20 minute mark Killorglin conceded a penalty which Sundays well kicked 5 metres out from our line, they successfully mauled us over for their first try. Sundays well managed to score a second try on the stroke of halftime, breaking away to leave the score 10 nil at the break. Killorglin scored an excellent try through Dan Dwyer early in the second half which was converted by Alex Garry, however, Sundays well immediately replied with a try of their own. Sundays well scored a try at the end to leave the final score 22 to 7 in their favour. Killorglin will be disappointed with their ill discipline, conceding a huge amount of ground through penalties and accruing 2 yellow cards. The positives were the fighting spirit on display right up to the final whistle along with the return of Paddy Tangney and Gavan Mangan from long term injury, both having excellent games. The squad now looks forward to 2 home games to finish out the group.
