Killorglin travelled to Ballydavid to play Chorca Dhuibhne in final pool game of Kerry Cups. Two minutes in and the hosts were in for a try and 5 point lead. Six minutes later and the scores were level when Darragh O'Shea followed his own cross field kick to score on right hand side. Seven minutes later, Killorglin went into the lead by pushing the home sides scrum back followed by touchdown by Timmy Lynch. On the half hour, Jamie O'Leary kicked through to score a try with conversion by Luke O'Shea. Half time score 17-5 to visitors.
Early in the second half Jamie O'Leary scored again but the next score was to Chorca Dhuibhne to narrow gap to 10 points. Rob Lynch scored next for Killorglin with conversion by Luke O'Shea. Chorca Dhuibhne fought back with another try but this was followed by a great score by James Byrne and converted by Luke O'Shea. Corca Dhuibhne had last score just before full time to leave final score 36-26 to Killorglin.
