Killorglin welcomed Newcastlewest in the Pan Munster on Saturday 26th and despite an excellent performance were defeated 22 – 3. The home team performed very well in the first half and despite conceding a try after 20 mins out wide they stayed in the game with a good penalty from Jack Evans. Newcastlewest pulled away late in the second half scoring 3 more tries, one of which was from a cross field kick showing in excellent skills in its execution. Killorglin were hamstrung in only having 14 men and no fresh legs bring in for relief. A good performance from all despite the result
