Killarney opened scoring with a try and conversion. Killorglin struck back with a try by Timmy Lynch converted by Luke O'Shea. Killarney retook the lead with a penalty. Killorglin scored 18 more points in first half through tries by Josh Morell and Seamus Doyle, one conversion by Luke O'Shea and 2 penalties by Luke O'Shea. Second half saw Killarney press hard, got a try but Killorglin finished with 2 more penalties by Luke O'Shea to run out deserved winners by 31-15. It appears that this is first time since 1935 that Killorglin won McElligott cup!! Well due!!
