Club Update

We hope you are all keeping well in these unprecedented times, we wanted to bring you an update on the club and the return to play guidelines outlined by the IRFU.

*AGM* - As a traditional AGM is not possible this year, we have agreed that the current committee and trustees will remain in their current roles. If there are any objections to this plan please email killorglinrugby@gmail.com. We are always looking for more help at the committee level, especially in the areas of club finances and facility development. Covid 19 Update – Shane O’Sullivan has volunteered to be the clubs Covid-19 Officer in line with the IRFU's return to play guidelines. Shane's background as a health and safety officer will give the club a great insight to what we will face over the coming months. We are looking for Covid Compliance Officers to join in with the Covid Safety team. If you are interested in becoming a Covid Compliance Officer, please contact Shane.

Youth Awards Night – As this year we cannot meet together to celebrate another successful year of Killorglin Rugby Club, we will be holding a Facebook Live broadcast on Friday June 19th at 7:30 pm to celebrate the clubs highlights throughout the year from the mini's right up to the U18.5's. We will also name the Most Improved Player and Player Of The Year for the U14, U16 & U18.5 age grades.

Facility Development – We have maintenance planned for our dressing rooms, toilets, car park and playing pitch. Initially greater works were due to take place this summer however due to Covid 19 and the fact that we will not be able to do our regular fundraising we will limit our development to just the dressing rooms, toilets, cark park and the pitch. If you are interested in helping with pitch maintenance, please contact Club president Colm Conway. 

We are always looking for more volunteers from people to help with tea & coffee, parking attendants, coaches and committee members, if you would like to get involved please contact Club President Colm Conway.
